TRASEVO / AUTOMATION
Logistics automation: where should you start?
Start with a repeated workflow, not a tool. Find where your team spends time copying information or resolving missing context.
TRASEVO / INSIGHTS · 2026Follow one real shipment
Trace a recent shipment from enquiry to settlement. Record who copies data, where prices are stored and how documents return. Include exceptions such as missing references and address changes: these determine whether automation is useful.
Measure before promising savings
Count operations, manual entry time and corrections over several days. Separate active work from waiting. Only include tasks that can follow a defined rule in your automation estimate.
Choose a controlled pilot
Linking an attachment to an order or preparing an order draft can be a sensible first scope. Define the data source, reviewer and error path. Keep human approval for incomplete or uncertain information.
Test and compare
Use valid and invalid samples. Check duplicates, retries and connection failures. Compare the same measurements after the pilot before expanding to another workflow.
